PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Designed specifically to remove the pecan weevil larva, this machine has slanted trays with special discharge chutes that allow the weevil larva to be separated from the kernel. The larva will roll up into a ball after being dried. This allows the larva to roll downhill while the kernel is conveyed uphill by the specially designed and build syntron driven trays. This is a very inexpensive method for removing the weevil larva as compared to the expensive optical sorters available.
